Questions

Before you ask

Do you teach complete beginners?+

Yes. New players start at Pawn level after a short placement, in the same class as everyone else.

Online or in person?+

Both. Classes run in Polokwane and at schools, and live online with lessons and puzzles in the LCA classroom between sessions.

How much does coaching cost?+

See the coaching fees table in the Coaching section (tap “Show fees”). Group sessions work out per student, rates are negotiable, and termly packages are quoted on enquiry.

Can you run a rated tournament for us?+

Yes. We handle pairings, arbiting and results, and submit ratings to CHESSA. A FIDE Arbiter is on the team.

Do you work outside Polokwane?+

Yes, by arrangement, for schools, districts and regional events across Limpopo.
